Pieceful Creations

Fifteen years ago, if you had told me, "Tina, someday you will be

a wife to a wonderful husband, and a mother to five amazing

children and you will be a woman of faith owning an online store

that allows you to craft your day away, I would have smiled

nicely at you and thought "No way - no how!"

How fifteen years can change a person! What a wonderful

change it has been.  Pieceful Creations has been quite a

journey since opening in 1998. Closed for a while. We're Back!

Greetings! I'm Tina Edgar, owner and designer of Pieceful Creations designs. My husband, of 19 years,  Jonathan, is a GIS project manager for Utah National Guard, and my five children Deonna, Michael, Danielle, Marissa and Jeffery are a delight. (ages 18 to 2 years old!)  Sadly none of them have been bit by the yarn love-crafty bug, but that means more yarn for me! I knit in Logan, Utah, nestled in the high mountain desert of Cache Valley.

Pieceful Creations began as a small hobby and grew into a full time, stay at home business. From 1998 to 2004 Pieceful Creations was dedicated to being a quilt and fabric online store, where we sold "pieces" of pre-cut fabric squares and miniature quilt blocks to our dedicated and great customers. Due to family life we had to close our store for a few years, where I become a busy mother, with a volunteer job helping women and families in Cache Valley Utah.

During that time, I began an old hobby of knitting and crochet to de-stress and get out of the house a few times a week with friends. I quickly learned that I loved to craft all different type of things, trying out various techniques and letting nothing stop me from exploring the different fiber arts. I learned to spin my own yarn, dye it, knit, crochet, loom knit, and even taught a few classes, at local retreats, to others who share in the addiction (I mean art!)

Five years ago I began posting some of my patterns on Ravelry, with the hope that some day in the future I could do even more. Now is the time! Thank you to all my followers who have knitted some of my past designs and I hope you will enjoy the new ones as well as having the chance to learn new and exciting techniques and new ways of doing old well-loved yarn crafts! Welcome and may your tinks be few.....
